TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED

I am a cyclist and ebiker, enjoying the countryside, making videos of my mini expeditions.

CYCLING AND EBIKING

On Sustrans Greenway route 699

If you think this looks fun, it's because it is.
Morning sunshine, all to myself

Old disused railway tunnel, Sustrans route 699

On the Calder and Hebble canal, with a double puncture on my mountain bike :O

Cycling in Bayeux, France, early 90s on my old Peugeot bike.

I documented our local Sustrans greenway in it's construction a couple of years ago which cost £1million to build; I regularly ride and promote it by having a facebook page for it, of which I have over 800 people on it, which includes, Sustrans volunteers and people from the Tour de Yorkshire legacy; so I also like to ride along and promote other Sustrans routes around the country.

If you are interested in cycling and would like to join the network, here is an interactive map of other greenway and safe cycling routes around England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We go to Anglesey quite often and I have found a fabulous route to use that will take us to beaches and ancient monuments without even touching a main road.   Quite looking forward to that this year!

Bike obsession?

Base: Sutton on sea on a mountain bike

sold

We have a selection of bikes, for every eventuality, road bikes, mountain bikes, an electric (ebike) and a superscooter Suzuki Burgman 400.

Wilson's fruit & veg shop, 2 Cromer Avenue, Sutton on sea, Lincolnshire, UK.  For more info about this shop go to
http://www.suttononsea.info/Wilsons-Veg/

Whilst staying on the Sutton on sea club site, we cycled to the cutest fruit and veg shop ever, we parked our bikes safely outside and got a handful of veg for our evening meal, which was very reasonably priced compared to a supermarket. What a gorgeous little shop it was, locally produced food, condiments also organic oats from Alford windmill. What a way to shop!! Bliss.

Crabtree Lane and A52 - 1.7 mile - 8 minutes by bicycle

Before you head off down to the supermarket
go down the high street and support your
local shops.

Across from Heaphy's Cafe in Glastonbury
